Daniel Hine

A Charlottesville and St. Paul’s native, Daniel has been part of the musical worship here for 30 years. Having earned degrees in Piano Pedagogy and Music Education at Westminster Choir College, he returned home after college to give back to the people who raised him. Daniel has served as Music Director, (very) part-time organist, and even as the sexton at St. Paul’s! He enjoys singing, conducting, composing, piano, and viola, and has extensive experience in both traditional Anglican music and spiritual music of the African-American diaspora. Daniel also serves as accompanist for the Oratorio Society of Virginia and the UVA Glee Club.
