On Sunday, February 6, at 7:30 p.m., a small choir featuring University Fellowship students, our Choral Scholars, and our music staff will sing a service of Choral Compline. Sung by candlelight, the gorgeous music includes ancient plainsong and motets by William Byrd, Josquin des Prez, and William Mundy.
From the monastic tradition, Compline is the final service (office) of the day, a quiet and reflective worship experience meant to prepare us for rest.
