Parishioners of all ages are invited and encouraged to participate in IMPACT's annual Nehemiah Action on Tuesday, March 21, from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at the MLK Performing Arts Center at Charlottesville High School, as we join with hundreds of members of a diverse group of local churches and other faith communities to seek commitments from county and city officials to support well-researched solutions to the affordable housing crisis, lack of affordable childcare, and public transportation issues in Charlottesville. (A Zoom link will also be available for anyone unable to attend in person.)
Many St. Paul's members are involved in IMPACT's work throughout the year, but the Nehemiah Action is the annual event when we aim to turn out as many parishioners, friends, and neighbors as possible to demonstrate the breadth and depth of our community's commitment to addressing local justice issues. We hope to see upwards of 150 St. Paul's parishioners at the Action this year. Showing up is a step toward building a beloved community in Charlottesville.
